What is Ayurveda?

  • Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old science of holistic healing that uses diet, lifestyle, herbs, yoga and meditation to bring balance of body, mind and soul

  • Originating in India, Ayurveda is rooted in the remembrance of the healing potential that lies in aligning ourselves with the rhythms of nature. Ayu means “life” and Veda means “wisdom or knowledge,” so Ayurveda literally means the knowledge of life and how to live in harmony with our environment according to our own individual constitution or prakruti.

  • The goal of Ayurveda is to promote health, prevent disease and enhance longevity of life. Focusing on each individual, Ayurveda works on treating the root cause of our symptoms to help eradicate the onset of future diseases. Ayurveda provides profound insight into how we can live our best life, be our most radiant self, and discover happiness and peace within.

What is Sound Healing?

  • Our body is a complex network of energy that is in constant relationship with our outer environment. The frequency of the Tibetan singing bowls allows our body and mind to completely relax and release unresolved thoughts, feelings, emotions and trauma that are stored deep within the connective tissues of our body. Through sound healing we can discover the deep, restorative state of awareness that truly allows the body to heal and rejuvenate.

Svastha which means health in Ayurveda is definited here as the balance of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), balanced digestive fire, properly formed tissues, proper elimination of all the excreta (urine, feces, and sweat) and a blissful state of the mind, body and sensory organs. Svastha literally means to be standing within ourselves.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I began working with Natalie during a time when it seemed like so many things were going wrong with my health and I didn't know where to turn.  I had tried many alternative health practitioners and practices with limited success and sometimes detrimental effects.  My western doctors just wanted to put me on medications that had side effects that were sometimes worse that the meds.

When I started working with Natalie, my health started improving in a gradual and defined way.  Over the course of several months, my blood pressure returned to normal and my doctor took me off my blood pressure medications, the swelling in my ankles went away, my digestive system normalized, my breathing difficulties improved, my heart palpitations disappeared, the acid reflux went away, my energy level increased and the need to nap for hours in the afternoon went away.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is to work with an Ayurvedic practitioner like Natalie.  She is a talented and compassionate healer.  Her consultations are thorough and her recommendations are comprehensive to address the body, mind and spirit.  She also provides marma treatments that are wonderfully rejuvenating and relaxing.  I am forever grateful to Natalie for her tireless work to help me restore my health.  She even made herself available via phone, text, email and skype when a face to face consultation was not possible.  She is truly a rare find in today's world."
