Sabudana Kitchari & Ayurvedic Herbal Coffee
Come learn about the art of Indian & Ayurvedic Cooking through a simple recipe that can be made and enjoyed by everyone!
Sabudana or Tapioca Kitchari is a savory breakfast or light dinner option that can be modified with many different spices and ingredients to pacify every unique individual, and each constitution (Vata, Pitta and Kapha). Sabudana kitchari is a traditional recipe in Maharastra, India, and is also eaten during times of fasting during auspicious holidays in India because it is so light and easy to digest.
In Ayurveda, food is the ultimate medicine. Eating according to our own unique constitution and present state of imbalance is key to achieving perfect health, stable mind, and connection with our spirit.
Food IS consciousness, and when we add awareness to the whole process of cooking, food can become our medicine.
Come learn, cook, eat, and enjoy the delicious tastes of Indian cooking.
