About the Event
In this Full Moon Meditation Circle will learn & practice various techniques including chanting, walking meditation, pranayama (breathing practices), and seated meditation to help strengthen, focus and still the turbulent tides of the mind.
In the Vedic tradition, the full moon is considered an auspicious and powerful day to turn inwards and meditate.
Practicing meditation at such a time helps to align ourselves with the cycle of the moon and harness the power of the mind. You will learn and practice various techniques that will ultimately bring more peace, equanimity, stillness and less stress, emotional fluctuation and reactivity in your life.
Practicing in a group setting is a great opportunity to gain inspiriation, to begin or deepen your existing meditation practice, recharge the energy of both the body and mind, feel uplifted by others and reconnect with the innate luminosity of love, compassion, and peace within you.
