About the Event
“With improper food medicine is of no use, with proper food, medicine is of no need!”
During this class, come explore and taste the amazing healing benefits of kitchen spices that you can incorporate in your every day meals according to your own unique constitution to promote balance, healing, and rejuvination. We will also have an opportunity to make digestive churnas or spice blends to easily add to any meal to aid digestion, transformation, assimilation and absorption or food into pure conciousness.
In this course we will learn and explore:
• Churnas- Spice blends that can be added to foods to help digestion
• Tadka- How to properly cook spices in your meals
• Tel- The medicinal properties of using oil according to your Constitution
• Dipan/Pachan- Kitchen spices & recipes to kindle digestion and burn toxins
About the Teacher
Natalie Maharjan is a NAMA certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, who studied under the great master Dr. Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM as well as his school in Pune, India. She offers Ayurvedic consultations and treatments in Ventura, CA at Purnamaya Ayurveda & Sound Healing Center.
