New Moon Fire Ceremony & Meditation
Time & Location
About the Event
Under the darkness of the New Moon we will practice a Homa Fire Ceremony, an ancient Vedic ritual of chanting & meditation to help align ourselves with the cycles of nature and awaken to our inner light of insight.
During the Full Moon Ceremony will chant 108 repetitions of a healing Vedic Mantra while offering rice and ghee to the fire.
Homa or Agni Hotra, is an ancient vedic fire ceremony where we worship the element of fire, signifying the force of TRANSFORMATION. Agni means fire, which allows for all digestion, absorption and assimilation of experiences into pure wisdom and insight. By honoring Agni we practice harnessing & cultivating our inner fire of transformation, bringing the light of clarity, insight and wisdom to dispel the darker aspects of our self. The fire not only purifies the environment, but our body & mind as well.
