About the Event

In our busy and fast-paced lives, we often forget to breathe and prioritize calming the mind. In this workshop we will learn prānāyāma techniques to control the breath, reduce stress and anxiety, and enter a deeper state of meditation. According to Patanjali's 8 Limbs of Yoga, after prānāyāma practice comes pratyāhara, dhāranā, and dhyāna, or sensory withdrawal, concentration and meditation. Learning how to quiet the mind through the more subtle limbs of yoga creates a deep sense of connection with our highest self, which is the ultimate aim of yoga. In the last hour of the workshop we will be able to fully experience the effects of the prānāyāma techniques with a guided meditation and sound bath using Tibetan singing bowls, detaching from our everyday lives and reconnecting with our highest purpose. We hope to guide you in a meaningful and educational experience on cultivating tools and techniques to deepen your spiritual journey.
