The Four Foundations of Mindfulness
In northern India some 2,600 years ago, the Buddha taught that meditation within the four foundations of mindfulness was the only way to reach the deepest and most profound peace. In this 4-class series we’ll be discussing these four foundations of mindfulness and exploring the practical and immediate ways that we can put them to use.
Week 4: Mindfulness of Mind Objects
In the final class of this series we’ll discuss the appropriate relationship we should have with respect to our thoughts, our perceptions (i.e., the things we see, hear, taste, etc.), and with the mind states that hinder our efforts to achieve “good” meditation.
