    This is an explanation and demonstration of Bhastrika Pranayama, the Bellows Breath. Bhastrika is an envigorating and heating breathing practice that is great for Kapha Dosha, weight loss, releasing stagnant emotions, enkindling our digestive fire, and enhancing our lung capacity. Pranayama is best done on an empty stomach, in the early morning, or evening before bed. Pranayama helps clear and calm the mind, used as a tool to prepare the mind for a deeper meditation.

    Anuloma Viloma

    This is an explanation and demonstration of Anuloma Viloma Pranayama, or Forceful Alternate Nostril Breathing. Anuloma Viloma is an intense Pranic bath, clearing all 72,000 nadis or energy pathways which helps guide our energy to flow more easily into the Sushumna or central pathway which is conducive to deeper states of meditation.  Pranayama is best done on an empty stomach, in the early morning, or evening before bed.
