108 Bead, Traditional Tibetan Japa Mala Necklace custom made directly from Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal.
This one of a kind Mala necklace is made from the seeds of the sacred Lotus flower. The Lotus flower, white in color symbolizes purity of body, speech and mind. As water rolls off of each petal, the flower also symbolizes non-attachment. Growing in muddy waters, the lotus also sumbolizes the emergence from darkness into light, delusion into clarity, purity, and grace on the spiritual path towards enlightenment.
Japa Malas are not just beautiful adornments, but traditionally used for chanting sacred mantras as a form of deepening meditation and mindfulness in every aspect of your life.
Boudhanath Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage site where relics of the Buddha are said to be kept. A Stupa is a dome shaped, sacred structure that is a pilgramage site for Buddhists, and used for meditation and prayer.
